Job Overview

Join Glooka Foods LLP as a full-time Kitchen Helper in Bangalore's HSR Layout, supporting kitchen staff by preparing food, cleaning, and ensuring the kitchen remains hygienic and organized. This position is crucial for maintaining efficient kitchen workflows and adhering to food safety standards.

Key Duties

• Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting vegetables and fruits according to chef instructions.
• Assist in simple prep tasks such as marinating, grating, grinding, and portioning of food items.
• Organize and store prepped ingredients properly to maintain freshness.
• Wash and sanitize cooking utensils, cookware, plates, and kitchen equipment swiftly and thoroughly.
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and mopping kitchen floors regularly.
• Clean kitchen surfaces such as counters, sinks, stoves, and storage areas at shift start and end.
• Dispose of waste appropriately and segregate kitchen trash into wet and dry categories.
• Adhere strictly to food hygiene, safety guidelines, including FSSAI standards.
• Wear required protective gear including uniforms, gloves, caps, and aprons consistently.
• Report any equipment faults or potential hazards promptly.
• Contribute to deep cleaning activities on scheduled maintenance days.
• Assist in receiving and storing ingredients and supplies.
• Support senior kitchen staff with additional tasks as needed while fostering teamwork.

Candidate Requirements

• No formal education is necessary, although basic literacy is preferred.
• Previous exposure to kitchen, restaurant, or cloud kitchen environments is advantageous but fresh candidates are welcome.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and handling moderate lifting.
• Dependable, hardworking, with ability to manage fast-paced work conditions.
• Basic comprehension of hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Communication skills in Hindi, English, or local language are required.
