Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and meticulous Cleaner to service residential rental properties through diverse cleaning assignments such as move-in/move-out cleaning, rental turnover, and listing-readiness cleaning. This role requires a professional individual capable of working autonomously while adhering closely to cleaning checklists and reporting any property issues for follow-up.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning appointments at residential rentals focusing on move-in, move-out, turnover, and preparing properties for listing.
• Conduct thorough cleaning throughout kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, hallways, appliances, flooring, surfaces, cabinets, and fixtures.
• Remove dust, debris, garbage, and any remaining items as necessary.
• Wipe down surfaces including counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and other frequently touched areas.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and clean all floor types.
• Clean interior appliance areas such as refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers if needed.
• Recognize areas requiring further cleaning, junk removal, repairs, maintenance, or other attention.
• Capture clear before-and-after photos and videos documenting cleaning results.
• Submit detailed updates including notes, images, and videos after each assignment.
• Communicate respectfully and professionally with landlords, tenants, applicants, and internal staff.
• Follow company guidelines, checklists, and access instructions carefully.

General Tasks May Include

Candidate Requirements

• Previous hands-on experience in cleaning roles such as housekeeper, residential cleaner, or cleaning contractor.
• Solid understanding of standard residential cleaning practices.
• Reliable personal transportation to access various rental locations independently.
• Possession of necessary cleaning tools and supplies for each appointment.
• Capability to work without direct supervision.
• Owns an iPhone 13 or equivalent smartphone equipped with a high-resolution camera.
• Comfortable capturing high-quality photos and videos for documentation purposes.
• Effective written communication skills to provide clear visit summaries.
• Professionalism characterized by punctuality, reliability, attention to detail, and respectful conduct.
• Adept at following detailed checklists and instructions precisely.
• Ability to interact courteously with landlords, tenants, applicants, and team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically in move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleaning.
• Familiarity with preparing rental properties for listings including photos, inspections, and showings.
• Proven ability to discern maintenance issues, damage, junk removal needs, pest problems, property access issues, or unsafe conditions.
• Background in independent fieldwork for property management, leasing, cleaning, or home services industries.
