Research Data Coordinator – Winnipeg, MB (3 Month Contract)

Overview

Paterson Grain is seeking a motivated and hands-on Research Data Coordinator to join its Research Farm team in Winnipeg. This role focuses on completing the current year’s field trials and delivering precise results to clients. Reporting to the Manager of Agronomy, the Coordinator will manage year-end data organization and generate detailed data reports.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the site manager to facilitate data entry into MS Excel and statistical analysis software.
• Support the site manager in preparing comprehensive data reports for clients.
• Provide assistance during harvest operations and participate in collecting fall trial data in the field.
• Contribute to maintaining a strong safety culture within the team at all times.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities with capability to juggle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge and experience related to managing research data effectively.
• Proficiency in Excel and statistical software, with familiarity in ARM software considered an advantage.
• Prior experience in research farm operations is preferred.
• Experience in technical writing for data reporting purposes.

Additional Information

The position is located northwest of Winnipeg's perimeter highway, outside of public transit access, thus candidates must have their own transportation to the site. This is a full-time onsite role without remote work options.
