Role Overview
This position is open to independently licensed therapists who seek stable W-2 employment with comprehensive benefits, flexible scheduling within a structured outpatient framework, minimal administrative tasks, and clear clinical expectations. The model supports independent yet evidence-based clinical work in a fully remote environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Providing entirely remote outpatient therapy.
- Treating patients with mild to moderate acuity issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, mood disorders, and OCD.
- Conducting standard 60-minute intake and follow-up sessions.
- Maintaining a consistent outpatient caseload with well-defined objectives.
- Working without any inpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP), or crisis call duties.
- Utilizing an internal referral network to/from psychiatrists.
- Relying on full operational support including scheduling, billing, intake coordination, credentialing, and licensing services.
Clinical Autonomy and Flexibility
- Making independent treatment decisions within evidence-based modalities.
- Determining weekly schedules within administrative guidelines.
- Operating under shared accountability with clinician-led care expectations emphasizing professional judgment.
- Accessing clinical leadership for support when needed.
- Focusing on patient care by minimizing administrative responsibilities.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold an independent therapy license (such as LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, or equivalent).
- Active, unrestricted licenses in two or more states (excluding CA, NY, and MA); multi-state license support is provided.
- Capability to manage a consistent outpatient caseload.
- Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced but sustainable outpatient setting preferred.
- Highly desirable experience in outpatient, community mental health, hospital, or other structured clinical settings.
- Desirable familiarity with structured, skills-based therapies, including CBT, ACT, MI, and DBT-informed care.
- Note: This role is not for clinicians seeking supervised licensure or who want to establish a fully independent private practice.
Compensation and Benefits
- W-2 full-time or part-time employment.
- Starting salary around $70,000 with potential incentive earnings up to $20,000.
- Salary increases based on tenure after two years.
