Remote Part-Time ELV Draftsman

Position Overview

Pro ELV Solutions invites applications for a part-time Remote ELV Draftsman role. The successful candidate will craft detailed drawings, schematics, and layouts focused on Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Public Address, AV, and other integrated technologies. This position involves collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure delivery of accurate and regulation-compliant ELV technical documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-standard CAD and drafting drawings related to ELV system designs, including schematics and layouts.
• Analyze design briefs, survey data, and technical specifications to generate precise documentation for ELV systems.
• Adhere to project standards, regulatory requirements, and quality benchmarks in all drawings.
• Work closely with engineers and project leaders to update and revise drawings as project needs change.
• Maintain an organized digital archive of drawings and updates.
• Provide technical documentation support and meet deliverables within agreed deadlines.

Professional Requirements

• At least 8 years of professional experience producing ELV system drafts.
• Expertise with CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting software.
• Comprehensive understanding of ELV industry standards, symbols, and integration methods.
• Skillful in translating technical specs into detailed, clear drawings.
• Strong focus on accuracy and quality assurance.
• Dependable internet connectivity enabling efficient remote work with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.
