Role overview
Gensler’s Northwest HR team is hiring a Regional Talent Coordinator to partner across talent acquisition and human resources. This role suits someone who is highly organized, service-focused, and comfortable working in a busy, people-driven setting. You will help create a smooth experience for candidates and employees while supporting recruiting operations and key HR programs.
Talent acquisition support
- Set up and maintain job requisitions in Workday Recruiting.
- Coordinate the full interview cycle, including phone, video, and in-person interviews, while working closely with hiring managers, executive assistants, and studio coordinators.
- Help prepare offer letters and support candidate communication to keep the experience positive and professional.
- Provide administrative and project support to the talent acquisition team, including work on process improvements.
- Assist with applicant screening, job posting management, and EEO/Workday audit activities.
- Take part in recruiting events and campus recruiting efforts when required.
- Research architecture and interior design firms to strengthen proactive, targeted sourcing.
- Help ensure candidates receive a consistent, engaging experience from requisition through offer.
Human resources support
- Support end-to-end HR operations in collaboration with the senior HR generalist and business partners.
- Assist with HR program rollouts, including performance management, compensation, and talent development initiatives.
- Keep HRIS records, employee files, and organizational charts accurate and up to date.
- Support pre-boarding and onboarding, including new-hire data entry, document handling, orientation coordination, and Buddy Program support.
- Track and summarize employee changes such as hires, transfers, leaves of absence, and exits.
- Respond to employee questions and provide general support on HR topics, benefits, PTO, policies, and firm programs.
- Help maintain compliance with company policies and established HR best practices.
- Assist with firmwide projects and additional HR initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related discipline is required.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or a coordinated support role.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with PowerBI, SharePoint, or Tableau is an advantage.
- Workday experience is strongly preferred.
- Adobe InDesign knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent organizational ability and the capability to juggle competing priorities in a high-volume environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Self-driven, flexible, service-oriented, and collaborative.
- Comfort working with diverse, creative, and professional teams.
Location and compensation
This is an in-person role based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The estimated base pay range is $33.65 to $38.95 per hour, which is approximately $70,000 to $81,016 annually, plus bonuses and benefits. Final compensation depends on experience.
