Overview
MyIntegra seeks a Regional Support Coordinator dedicated to assisting NDIS participants by managing and facilitating their support services remotely. While the role is primarily remote, candidates must be located in Melbourne due to occasional in-person visits. The position fosters meaningful contributions to individuals with disabilities by enabling the effective implementation of their NDIS Plans.
Key Duties
- Support NDIS participants in executing their plans and coordinating required services and supports.
- Manage all administrative tasks with compliance and accuracy.
- Build and nurture relationships with government and disability-related organizations and associations.
- Take proactive steps to expand and maintain these professional networks.
- Promote MyIntegra’s support coordination services within the market, including delivering presentations to Local Area Coordinators, Disability Service Providers, participant groups, and their nominees.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrate empathy and genuine care for people with disabilities.
- Strong presentation skills with ability to effectively handle inquiries from groups, clients, and stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to organize and manage time efficiently.
- Skilled in engaging potential clients and converting inquiries into active leads.
- Capacity to develop and sustain collaborative stakeholder relationships.
- Competency to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
Requirements
- Possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to client visits as necessary.
- At least six months to one year of experience as an NDIS Support Coordinator.
- Hold Allied Health qualifications or Certificate IV or equivalent in Allied Health, Disability, Aged Care or related fields.
- Familiarity or experience with complex family health matters is advantageous.
- Successful candidates must pass an NDIS Worker Screening Check and provide an updated Working with Children Check.
