Job description

About Grab and Our Workplace

Grab is Southeast Asia's premier superapp, integrating diverse services such as food delivery, financial management, and transportation to simplify daily life. Our mission is driven by purpose, excellence, and powered by technology and AI, committed to advancing Southeast Asia's economy with integrity, dedication, and humility.

Role Overview

As a valued member of the Sales Operations team, you will work alongside Commercial, Product, and People teams to enhance sales efficiency across Southeast Asia by developing scalable commercial frameworks through process design, data insights, and sales tools, ultimately supporting predictable revenue growth and sustainable expansion.

You will be responsible for end-to-end management of Sales Incentive Plans for the region’s sales teams. Your role involves translating business goals into effective compensation frameworks that promote desired sales behaviors and results, continuously refining plans by analyzing performance and balancing regional uniformity with local market differences and regulations.

Collaboration with People Rewards, Regional and Country Sales Leadership, Data Analytics, and Country Sales Operations is key. This position reports directly to the Senior Manager, Sales Operations, and is based full-time onsite at Grab's One-North office in Singapore.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design, manage, and execute comprehensive sales compensation plans encompassing structures, metrics, weighting, payout scenarios, simulations, policies, and governance.
  • Convert commercial goals into precise incentive mechanisms that foster targeted sales activities, including performance, accuracy of forecasting, revenue integrity, and retention.
  • Analyze performance and market data to evaluate plan impact, identify unexpected results, and optimize compensation models.
  • Prepare business cases and perform scenario-driven simulations to assess financial and behavioral effects of plan modifications.
  • Lead rollout of new/revised plans through stakeholder engagement, training, communication, participant assistance, attainment assessments, and payout oversight.
  • Develop adaptable regional frameworks mindful of local business environments, employment laws, and reward customs across Southeast Asia.
  • Collaborate with Commercial and Sales Operations leaders to synchronize quota setting, target alignment, and performance measurements within incentive policies.
  • Enhance operational processes, governance, and controls to boost transparency, accuracy, and participant satisfaction.
  • Provide senior leadership and cross-functional teams with detailed recommendations and consistent program updates.

Essential Qualifications

  • Over 5 years’ experience in Sales Operations, Sales Compensation, Commercial Finance, Rewards, or related areas.
  • Proven track record owning the design and implementation of sales compensation plans rather than merely administering existing ones.
  • Deep understanding of how compensation influences sales behavior and business outcomes, demonstrated through plan evaluation or enhancement.
  • Experience in creating and managing sales incentives such as commission schemes, short-term rewards, SPIFFs, or gamification efforts.
  • Strong analytical skills in modeling compensation scenarios, investigating performance data, and converting insights into actionable suggestions.
  • Successful leadership in compensation plan deployments or large-scale process changes, securing alignment from senior and diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience coordinating across multiple Southeast Asian markets, effectively standardizing regional processes while adapting to local commercial, cultural, and regulatory contexts.
  • Robust project management skills managing multiple streams and timelines concurrently.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of conveying complex compensation concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike.

Preferred Additional Skills

  • Proficiency with SQL, Tableau, or comparable data visualization and analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with compensation management or sales performance management software.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, incentive pay systems, and reward customs in the region.
  • Experience collaborating with People Rewards, Finance, Legal, or Compliance departments.

Workplace Benefits and Culture

  • Comprehensive Term Life and Medical Insurance coverage.
  • Customization of benefits through GrabFlex to tailor packages to individual needs and goals.
  • Supportive leave policies for parental, birthday, and volunteering engagements under Love-All-Serve-All (LASA).
  • Confidential assistance programs to support employees and their families through personal challenges.
  • Flexible working hours options to balance personal responsibilities and life demands.

Diversity and Inclusion

Grab is committed to cultivating an equitable and inclusive work environment that embraces diversity enabling all employees to thrive. The company practices equal opportunity hiring regardless of nationality, ethnicity, religion, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, family commitments, disabilities, or other unique attributes.
