About EcoChill and the Role
Join EcoChill, a foremost commercial refrigeration company in New Zealand, as a Refrigeration Apprentice based in Tauranga. This position offers the opportunity to develop practical expertise in various refrigeration technologies including supermarket and CO8 systems, food processing, cold storage units, retail refrigeration, and industrial projects while progressing toward becoming a certified Technician.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist with scheduled maintenance and servicing tasks.
- Learn to identify faults, perform diagnostics, and carry out repairs.
- Support the setup and commissioning of refrigeration systems for commercial clients.
- Collaborate with seasoned technicians on diverse industrial, commercial, and supermarket refrigeration projects.
- Strictly adhere to company health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Advance through the apprenticeship curriculum and enhance understanding of cutting-edge refrigeration technologies.
