Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Operations Engineer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This position demands a candidate with substantial experience in managing enterprise Linux environments, focusing on system deployment, maintenance, and security.

Key Responsibilities and Expertise

• Administer and handle day-to-day operations of RHEL systems.
• Oversee RHEL deployment, lifecycle, and patch management processes.
• Optimize system performance through tuning and kernel configuration adjustments.
• Develop automation scripts using Ansible and Bash to streamline operations.
• Manage storage integration involving LVM, SAN, and NAS technologies.
• Implement user and directory services integration through Active Directory or LDAP.
• Enforce security protocols including RBAC, SSH key management, and access controls.
• Conduct Linux security hardening guided by CIS Benchmarks and DISA STIG standards.
• Handle vulnerability management together with SIEM and log auditing tools.
• Maintain backup, disaster recovery plans, and high availability setups.

Educational and Certification Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline. Possession of RHCSA or RHCE certification is mandatory.
