Position Overview

We are offering a permanent Quantity Surveyor role based remotely, requiring occasional travel within Yorkshire & Humber and North East regions. You will be part of a dynamic Commercial team working on Ministry of Justice Facilities Management contracts, providing essential services that positively affect communities across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply commercial procedures to ensure contractual rights and entitlements are fulfilled.
  • Implement organizational commercial processes related to cost monitoring, valuation, procurement, and management reporting.
  • Oversee subcontractor accounts to ensure compliance with contract terms.
  • Prepare detailed commercial documentation including cost value reconciliations and cash flow forecasts.
  • Define and monitor contract benchmarks and KPIs.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven stakeholder management skills.
  • Relevant experience in a comparable Quantity Surveyor position.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Good understanding of commercial and financial principles.
  • Preferably a degree-holder in a related discipline (RICS-accredited or equivalent) with mid to senior-level experience.
  • Familiarity with SAP is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.

Working Hours and Location

The role entails a 37.5 hour workweek, Monday through Friday, primarily remote with occasional travel.
