Role Summary
The QHSE Advisor will lead the implementation of the Group's HSE objectives, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and proactively managing HSE risks across the region or country. This role requires a strong focus on coaching, auditing, data analysis, and collaboration with multiple departments to foster a robust HSE culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide training and coaching on HSE Management System standards and procedures.
- Offer expert technical guidance on HSE management processes.
- Analyze HSE performance data, identify trends, and promote safety awareness.
- Develop and oversee risk and hazard assessments.
- Conduct and support internal and external audits, driving corrective action implementations.
- Own and be accountable for regional/country HSE objectives.
- Support HSE evaluations related to pre-qualifications, bids, contracts, and pre-mobilization efforts.
- Prepare project-specific bridging documents.
- Collaborate with HR, project management, engineering, and business development teams on HSE matters.
- Ensure compliance with accredited standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and OSHA.
- Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Lead inspections and audits involving internal, subcontractor, and third parties.
- Support incident investigations and root cause analyses; communicate findings to management.
- Monitor HSE progress and action plans; hold management accountable for completion.
- Report on internal client KPIs and champion compliance at onshore, offshore, and facility locations.
- Lead the deployment of the EnerMech Engagement Team, securing managerial support and assisting with their annual plans.
- Implement and track HSE processes such as observations, leadership engagement walks, and life-saving rule inspections.
- Engage with external bodies on HSE issues and advise business units to meet client requirements.
- Drive continuous HSE initiatives and improvements.
- Work closely with HR Training and Competency teams on HSE training matrix and competency frameworks.
- Travel as required both offshore and onshore, maintaining visible presence and engagement.
Qualifications and Experience
- NEBOSH Certificate focusing on Environmental and Health & Safety disciplines.
- Advanced knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Skilled in incident investigation techniques.
- Proficient in conducting risk and hazard assessments.
- Certification as an ISO auditor.
- Experience operating within global teams.
- Familiarity with ISO standards 9001, 14001, and 45001.
- Previous experience in roles encompassing international responsibilities.
Preferred Credentials
- NEBOSH Diploma earned or currently underway.
- Chartered membership of a recognized HSEQ institute.
