Job Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement operations for purchased components involved in railway bogie frames, covering a range of parts including castings, forgings, machined components, piping and pipe fittings, and fabricated assemblies.
• Evaluate and select vendors for the procurement of bogie frame components, adhering strictly to company policies and quality requirements.
• Source materials competitively to balance cost efficiency with quality and ensure punctual delivery schedules.
• Establish and nurture strong supplier relationships, skillfully negotiate contracts, and secure advantageous procurement terms.
• Monitor supplier performance regularly focusing on quality, delivery time, and cost, and implement necessary corrective measures.
• Utilize the Indian Railways Vendor Directory to identify suppliers that meet approved source criteria applicable to different bogie projects.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
