Project Manager - Transportation Infrastructure

About the Role

A leading opportunity is available for a Project Manager to join a growing Transportation team located in Dublin or Dundalk, Ireland. This role involves overseeing the planning and design of significant transport infrastructure projects including roads, railways, public transit, and active travel initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

The chosen candidate will be engaged throughout the full project lifecycle, from initial feasibility studies and preliminary design phases, moving through statutory approvals, procurement, contract administration, and construction oversight. This includes managing diverse teams, liaising with clients and various stakeholders, and championing sustainable infrastructure development to positively impact communities nationwide.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Must hold an engineering degree at Level 8 or 9.
• Chartered Engineer accreditation is essential.
• Prior consultancy experience in delivering transport infrastructure projects is required.
• Comprehensive understanding of design standards and their application in practice.
• Experience in planning and design of road schemes along with familiarity with statutory procedures and contract management.
• Demonstrated capability to manage multidisciplinary teams and complex project workflows.
• Exceptional communication skills and proficiency in stakeholder engagement.
