Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to spearhead significant initiatives within a global financial services firm in Denver, Colorado. This extended contract role is perfect for a client-oriented specialist skilled at steering multifaceted programs from inception to completion while harmonizing business, operational, and technological priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead intricate, organization-wide projects encompassing multiple business units, systems, and delivery teams.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to develop synchronized project schedules, oversee timelines, and maintain alignment on priorities.
- Advise senior leaders and stakeholders strategically by offering actionable insights, implementation strategies, and delivery assistance.
- Assess project risks, dependencies, and business impacts using thorough analysis and governance protocols to aid informed decision-making.
- Monitor the integration between business goals, operational workflows, and technological requirements to ensure successful project execution.
- Take accountability for resolving issues, removing obstacles, and balancing competing priorities to sustain project momentum.
- Prepare and communicate clear progress reports detailing milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and overall project status to teams and executives.
- Manage both internal personnel and external partners, including vendor coordination, to ensure execution efficiency and responsibility.
- Partner with business leaders and finance teams in budget planning, cost-benefit analysis, and financial performance monitoring.
- Coordinate with various internal teams and clients to ready data for technology implementations and support prioritized rollout efforts.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of five years' experience in project management, preferably within financial services or similarly regulated sectors.
- Proven track record leading complex programs through a PMO framework emphasizing governance and control.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills appropriate for professional client interactions.
- Demonstrated ability managing multiple stakeholders across business, technology, operations, finance, and external vendors.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on evaluating project risks, dependencies, and impacts.
- Proficiency in maintaining adaptable project schedules responsive to shifting priorities and resource limitations.
- Experience working in governance-centered project environments and familiarity with structured project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of platforms such as Epicor, Intacct, or comparable enterprise systems is advantageous.
