Project Manager - 12-Month Fixed Term Contract

About the Role

Craigs Investment Partners (CIP) is advancing its technology transformation and seeking a Project Manager to join its Digital Business team in Tauranga for a 12-month fixed term. This position is responsible for leading and delivering a range of projects encompassing processes, technology, and personnel aspects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery, proactively addressing challenges to meet business objectives.
• Develop and oversee change management initiatives including communication, training, and adoption methods.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to define and satisfy project requirements.
• Manage stakeholder relationships ensuring consensus and cooperative project execution.
• Ensure governance, reporting, and compliance adhere to both CIP and NZX standards.

Candidate Profile

• Solid experience in vendor management, including procurement, negotiation, and performance monitoring.
• Strong skills in scope and solution management, adept at converting high-level business needs into precise project scopes.
• Capability to adapt approach according to varying stakeholder levels and evolving role demands.
• Excellent communication abilities for effective stakeholder engagement at all organizational tiers.
• Thorough understanding of core project management principles such as scope, risk, and dependency management.
• Proven skills in identifying and managing project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Exceptional time management and organizational expertise to prioritize and deliver results efficiently.
• Experience in integrating project and change management strategies.
• Insight into change management impacts, ensuring smooth handover of change requirements to relevant teams.
• Knowledge of the Financial Services sector is advantageous but not required.
