Project Execution Engineer

Role overview

EMLI GmbH is looking for a Project Execution Engineer to support building management engineering and logistics projects. In this role, you will hold technical responsibility for building and expansion assignments and help ensure customer requirements are delivered smoothly and correctly.

What you will do

You will review technical specifications, create both high-level concepts and detailed designs, and help drive project delivery in coordination with internal stakeholders and outside service providers. The role also includes technical supervision, documentation work, support for service-related activities, and participation in testing, commissioning, and root-cause investigations. You will work alongside project management, track timelines and quality expectations, and contribute ideas that improve processes over time.

Work location and working style

This is a full-time onsite position based in the Berlin Metropolitan Area. The role requires a strong willingness to travel across Germany to carry out work at customer locations. Prior experience in a young, expanding company environment is important.

Qualifications and profile

You should have excellent communication skills and be able to explain technical topics clearly to colleagues, customers, and cross-functional teams. A structured and collaborative way of working is expected.

Strong analytical and conceptual abilities are needed to understand complex technical situations, solve problems methodically, and plan work in a target-oriented manner.

Hands-on experience in technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving issues, including supporting customers and service partners, is an advantage.

You should also be familiar with project management basics, including task structuring, prioritization, scheduling, and resource coordination.

A completed degree or an equivalent qualification in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering field, together with substantial technical knowledge, is required. Familiarity with technical standards and guidelines used in the Life Sciences sector, such as GxP, is expected, along with working knowledge of CAD tools and Microsoft Office applications.

Additional requirements

You need to be self-motivated, dependable, and strong in managing time and costs. A high level of quality awareness is essential. Very good written and spoken German is required, while technical English is an advantage. Experience in hybrid work settings is also considered beneficial.
