AV Matrix is an expanding technical production business that provides professional audio-visual solutions for indoor and outdoor events across the UK, including festivals, corporate conferences, award ceremonies, exhibitions, and brand activations. Role summary
This is a fully office-based position located at the warehouse in Wetherby. The successful candidate will coordinate small to medium AV projects from the first enquiry through to completion, acting as the main contact for clients, venues, suppliers, and internal colleagues. The role is focused on delivering complete AV solutions, including equipment, crew, and event support, while maintaining strong relationships with venue partners, trade customers, and new business leads.
Core duties
- Manage AV projects from initial request through to final delivery.
- Produce quotations and proposals for customers.
- Arrange equipment, crew, transport, and event logistics.
- Communicate with venues, suppliers, and technical teams.
- Develop and maintain relationships with venue accounts and trade clients.
- Keep project details accurate and ensure they are shared promptly with the right teams.
- Work with operations to make the best use of resources.
- Track project spend and profitability.
- Provide high-quality customer service throughout every stage of the project.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant will be organised, proactive, customer-oriented, and comfortable handling several projects at the same time. The role requires someone who can stay on top of deadlines, communicate clearly, and manage tasks with a strong eye for detail.
Required experience and skills
Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience in the audio visual or events sector. Essential strengths include administration, organisation, customer service, prioritisation, professional phone manner, commercial awareness, problem-solving, and confidence using Microsoft Office and cloud-based tools.
Desirable experience
It would be an advantage to have experience with CAD software such as SketchUp, WYSIWYG, or Capture, as well as familiarity with rental management platforms like Current RMS.
Working pattern
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm.
