Program Lead – Afterschool Programs (Esports, Media, Technology)

About the Role

This part-time contractual position offers an opportunity to spearhead innovative afterschool initiatives focused on emerging fields like esports, content creation, digital media, and technology. The role demands hands-on leadership to develop, run, and continuously improve individual program tracks rather than simply teaching pre-designed courses.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution and management of a designated afterschool program area such as esports, video editing, or social media.
• Design and implement structured learning sessions including curriculum and student activities.
• Supervise instructors or assistants when relevant.
• Promote student engagement, ensure high retention, and maintain excellent overall experience.
• Monitor attendance, track student performance, and evaluate program outcomes.
• Utilize feedback loops to enhance and evolve program offerings.
• Own your assigned program like an independent business unit, driving its growth and success.

Desired Qualifications and Traits

• Exceptional leadership skills coupled with strong organizational capabilities.
• Experience or confidence managing youth groups is advantageous.
• Background or strong interest in at least one core domain: esports/gaming, content creation (YouTube, TikTok, streaming), video editing/media, or digital technology skills.
