Role Overview

The Productivity Buyer will be responsible for defining and executing strategies related to technical, re-sourcing, logistics, and productivities for VPS materials, aligning with budget targets in collaboration with the segment organization. This role supports commodity teams to meet negotiation goals and drives material productivity initiatives in partnership with the MSC and suppliers. The position involves monitoring supplier relationships as a Key Account Purchasing (KAP) representative when applicable, implementing worldwide material standards at the site, assisting in budget formulation alongside site purchasing managers and segment leaders, and enforcing logistics protocols and supplier integration standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and implement material productivity and sourcing strategies aligned with budget expectations together with the segment organization.
• Assist commodity segment leaders in achieving site negotiation objectives.
• Lead material productivity initiatives with MSC and suppliers within specified budget timelines.
• Manage supplier relationships as a Key Account Purchasing contact where designated.
• Apply global product group and line material standards at the site(s).
• Collaborate to establish site budgets alongside purchasing managers and segment leaders.
• Execute mitigation action plans at the site level.
• Ensure adherence to logistics protocols for all externally sourced components.
• Strictly enforce V5000 Supplier Integration standards encompassing internal references, certifications, procedures, tools, and information systems.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or degree in Purchasing, Economics, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• At least five years of experience in purchasing roles.
• Fluency in English communication.
