Job description
Role Overview
Kinisla seeks a Production Operator to join their team in Listowel, County Kerry. This role involves collaborating closely with shipping, warehousing, and quality teams to ensure efficient production processes.
Key Duties
- Exercise solid decision-making skills with effective delegation.
- Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) across assigned areas.
- Adhere strictly to Company policies on Health, Quality, Safety, and Environment.
- Coordinate and communicate regularly with shipping, warehousing, and quality departments.
- Collect, coordinate, and disseminate relevant production information.
- Perform general administrative tasks related to production office operations.
- Exhibit high accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
- Continuously monitor performance and implement improvements when necessary.
- Develop contingency plans by considering alternative approaches.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring full completion.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous manufacturing experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of plant processes and product knowledge preferred.
- Commitment to 'clean as you go' cleanliness standards.
- Willingness to learn and adopt good manufacturing practices.
- Ability to organize work efficiently and operate effectively under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing operational demands.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Team-oriented mindset and collaboration skills.
- Leaving Certificate qualification is required; a third level qualification is optional.
