Production Manager - Dolomite Quarry

Role Overview

The Investment and Development Office (IDO) in Ras Al Khaimah is hiring an experienced Production Manager for its Dolomite Quarry. This site operates at a very large scale of 20 million tonnes per annum (MTPA), and the role sits in a vital leadership position focused on delivering safe, efficient, and economical output.

You will oversee the full Load & Haul operation end to end, making sure a large fleet is used effectively, work is executed with discipline, and productivity keeps improving across a 24/7 production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the Load & Haul operation for a substantial mobile fleet, with a focus on safe and productive material movement.
• Keep production on track by planning carefully, coordinating daily work, and making timely operational decisions.
• Improve fleet usage, reduce cycle times, raise payload efficiency, and refine haul routes to increase output and lower operating cost.
• Work closely with operations, maintenance, and FMS teams to improve equipment availability and overall productivity.
• Build and sustain a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with HSE requirements and safe work practices.
• Review operational data to spot improvement opportunities and roll out initiatives that lift performance.
• Lead, coach, and manage supervisors and frontline staff to maintain high standards of execution.
• Ensure production plans are delivered in line with mine sequencing and operational priorities.

Candidate Profile

• Background in large quarrying or mining operations, especially in Load & Haul management.
• Experience running high-volume fleet operations in a continuous production setting.
• Solid knowledge of fleet management systems and using data to improve performance.
• Ability to lead, support, and develop large operational teams.
• Commercially minded with a strong focus on productivity, cost control, and operating efficiency.
• Strong commitment to safety leadership and ongoing improvement.
