Production Assistant

About the Role

The Production Assistant plays a crucial, shift-based role that supports the smooth delivery of all content recorded at Peloton Studios New York. This position is integral in assisting live, recorded, and off-platform content production, requiring adaptability in a fast-paced broadcast setting. Occasional travel to off-site event productions may be necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main liaison between the Control Room and studio floor, providing direct assistance to instructors and external talent during class content production.
• Support planning and preparation by reviewing class plans and playlists for upcoming recordings.
• Function as the Stage Manager in the studio, ensuring adherence to the class schedule, and that instructors are properly miked and ready before filming.
• Keep detailed production logs and reports to ensure accurate documentation of all recorded content.
• Manage maintenance and hospitality needs within the Green Room and perform various administrative tasks and errands to support daily operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Eagerness to work in a daily live broadcast environment and collaborate with on-air talent, producers, and production teams.
• Ability to quickly problem-solve and maintain high production standards in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, and weekends.
• Passion for fitness, storytelling, and innovative content creation.
• Proficiency in German or Spanish is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage for this role is set at $26.
