About SatVu
SatVu delivers precise operational insights from space, monitoring facilities using a constellation of thermal imagery satellites. Their technology provides high-resolution thermal intelligence showing asset activity status such as operational on/off and temperature conditions. With 3.5-meter ground sample distance and mid-wave infrared thermal data available day and night, SatVu continuously monitors infrastructure anywhere in the world. The HotSat constellation offers decision-grade thermal intelligence supporting national security, economic oversight, and climate resilience missions. Having recently launched HotSat-2 and planning upcoming launches through HotSat-6, SatVu aims to build a nine-satellite constellation providing frequent daily revisits.
Role Overview
The Product Marketing Manager will spearhead SatVu's product communications across the lifecycle, crafting messaging, launching products, and supporting go-to-market efforts specifically for SatVu's thermal imagery and Earth Observation solutions. Reporting to the CTO and working within Product Management, this role requires deep knowledge of SatVu's technologies and translating technical features into customer value.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement SatVu's product marketing strategy for thermal imagery and EO services throughout the product lifecycle.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of SatVu's satellite capabilities (HotSat constellation), APIs, data workflows, GIS tools, and product roadmap to articulate customer benefits clearly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Imagery Science, Satellite Operations, Sales, and Customer Success to transform technical attributes and customer needs into compelling messages.
- Create and maintain defined product positioning, value propositions, platform messages, and industry-specific narratives for sectors such as national security, economic monitoring, climate resilience, energy, and infrastructure.
- Produce and coordinate engaging product content and sales enablement collateral such as presentations, demos, datasheets, competitive battlecards, customer case stories, StoryMaps, graphics, animations, and ROI-focused materials.
- Support enterprise sales initiatives, customer projects, digital marketing campaigns, product announcements, and cross-departmental go-to-market activities.
- Maintain the product marketing asset library and website content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and visual appeal for customer-facing teams.
- Perform competitive and market research, collect feedback from customers and sales, define KPIs, and continuously enhance positioning, adoption rates, campaigns, content quality, and sales impact.
Essential Qualifications
- Mid to senior-level experience in product marketing especially with B2B products, technical data offerings, or within space and geospatial domains.
- Background in Earth Observation, geospatial technology, remote sensing, satellite data, or similar technical data products.
- Familiarity with APIs, data delivery systems, GIS tools, and product roadmaps.
- Proven ability to convert intricate technical information into clear, impactful customer messages.
- Experience working collaboratively with executive leadership, product and engineering teams, commercial groups, and external partners.
- Knowledge of product marketing frameworks such as Pragmatic Marketing and Lean Startup.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication capabilities.
Preferred Attributes
- Formal education related to the field is advantageous.
- Experience working in startup or scaling companies is a plus.

Recruitment Process
- Initial phone call with People Director to discuss role and candidate preferences (~30 minutes).
- Video interview with CTO focusing on role specifics and candidate background (~30 minutes).
- In-person assessment with CTO, VP, and Product/Sales teams including scenario presentation (~60 minutes).
- Final interview with Co-Founders (CEO and CIO) either in person or remote (~30 minutes).
