Role Overview

As a Product Manager, you will oversee a product rooted in Agile principles while encouraging the use of modern tools and best practices. The role calls for someone who can drive delivery, remove obstacles for the team, and switch comfortably between strategic planning and hands-on execution when required. You will also play an important role in decisions that help build strong, high-performing teams.

Working Model

This position follows a hybrid arrangement. Based on business needs, you will be expected to work from a client or Cognizant office for 3 to 4 days each week. Cognizant also supports employee wellbeing and work-life balance through its programs.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is motivated to improve workflows and processes, willing to support teammates, and able to encourage collaboration across the group. A self-starting attitude and willingness to keep learning about project-related topics are important. You should also have a strong grasp of the full Agile software delivery lifecycle, including Scrum and Kanban.

How You’ll Contribute

In this role, you will support the Product Owner, especially with backlog grooming and backlog maintenance. You will also coordinate with the Product Owner, Technical Lead, Business Analysts, User Experience Designers, and Engineers to plan release activities and timelines. In addition, you will help connect business and technical teams by preparing documentation or presentations when needed.
