Role Overview

As a Product Line Specialist focusing on Digital, Data & Automation within Cargill's Ag & Trading Australia segment, you will facilitate the advancement, execution, and persistent refinement of AI-driven and automated digital solutions. Positioned at the confluence of business units and digital platforms, your efforts will significantly cut down manual labor and reliance on spreadsheets, boost data accuracy, and foster scalable, repeatable workflows. This pivotal role ensures digital solutions consistently deliver long-term business value.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist in rolling out digital, data, and automation projects, including crafting small-scale automations to suppress manual tasks and elevate operational efficiency.
  • Oversee and aid in monitoring the functionality, precision, and user adoption of AI-powered automations, contributing to their ongoing enhancement and proliferation across the business.
  • Maintain oversight of all digital and automation initiatives, aiding in prioritizing to avoid redundancies while ensuring alignment and scalability.
  • Support exploratory initiatives by piloting new digital tools, automation methods, and AI use cases to validate their practical value for wider deployment.
  • Collaborate closely with business teams and digital platform custodians to deliver effective outcomes, encourage tool adoption, and elevate digital and automation competencies.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Background in digital systems, automation, analytics, or data management.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted procedures or intelligent automation technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of process enhancement and automation methodologies.
  • Capability to adapt within fast-evolving technological landscapes.
  • Proven ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and communicate clearly.
  • Practical experience with data manipulation, dashboard reporting, or automation platforms such as Excel and low-code tools.
