Key Responsibilities
- Analyze product performance data to uncover trends, risk elements, drivers of profitability, and operational improvement opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth analyses to determine underlying causes of performance issues and detect emerging trends such as claims variations, conversion rate shifts, and distribution changes.
- Review the competitive market including product features, pricing strategies, distribution channels, and new developments within travel insurance.
- Support the design, development, and improvement of travel insurance products ensuring market competitiveness and adherence to Canadian regulatory standards.
- Identify inefficiencies in processes and recommend and assist with implementing corrective measures.
Candidate Profile
- Post-secondary education in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a similar discipline.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in analytics, product management, or business intelligence roles; insurance sector experience is advantageous.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Skilled at interpreting complex data into actionable business insights and articulating clear recommendations.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently in a dynamic environment.
