About the Role

As a Produce Stocker at Walmart Canada in Winnipeg, you will play an important part in keeping the produce section well-stocked and appealing to customers while providing excellent service aligned with Walmart's core values. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the produce department to ensure it is always customer-ready.
• Regularly rotate stock and remove expired products to guarantee freshness and quality.
• Verify that all produce is accurately priced and properly labeled, adhering to protocols regarding ordering, clearance, markup/markdown, and signage.
• Comply with all food safety, sanitation, and cold chain standards, including temperature monitoring and proper handling of products according to sell-by and expiration guidelines.
• Manage stocking and downstocking of merchandise, apply protective measures when necessary, and arrange product displays such as modulars and shelf caps.
• Follow all health and safety policies to maintain a safe, clean work setting.
• Be flexible with your work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business demands.

Challenges in This Position

• Handle high-volume restocking tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment, often during overnight shifts, while maintaining energy and focus.
• Meet the physical requirements, including standing for extended periods and lifting items typically up to 20 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive stocking and zoning activities with consistency and attention to detail.

Starting pay rate: $16.45 per hour.
