Procurement / Vendor Management Analyst

About the Role

We are partnering with a prominent investment firm to recruit a Procurement / Vendor Management Analyst on a contract basis. This remote position suits professionals with 1 to 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, vendor management, or contract administration.

Role Overview

The analyst will manage the complete vendor lifecycle, including reviewing and administering contracts, managing contract data within procurement systems, verifying that vendor documentation is accurate and current, and collaborating with internal teams to support procurement programs. Responsibilities also include tracking contract expiration and renewal dates, ensuring compliance with company policies, facilitating the onboarding of new vendors, and producing reports on vendor and contract activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain vendor contracts and associated metadata.
• Monitor contract renewals, modifications, and expiry dates.
• Support vendor onboarding processes and continual vendor management efforts.
• Ensure procurement records comply with internal standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, compliance, and business departments throughout procurement activities.
• Maintain updated procurement documentation and generate detailed reports on vendor activities and contract statuses.
• Contribute to sourcing projects and special procurement initiatives as required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year and up to 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, vendor management, contract administration, or purchasing roles.
• Proven ability to review contracts and maintain related contract information.
• Excellent organizational skills coupled with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with procurement or contract management software.
• Experience in financial services, asset or investment management, banking, or other regulated sectors is highly desirable.
