Private Equity Associate

Position Overview

The role is for a Private Equity Associate available on a contract basis, working remotely. Compensation ranges from $100 to $144 per hour, with an expected weekly commitment between 10 to 40 hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform extensive due diligence by evaluating confidential information memoranda (CIMs/SIMs) and relevant deal documents.
• Create, review, and enhance Investment Committee (IC) memorandums and presentations for Board meetings to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Analyze complex public filings, financial statements, and detailed transaction papers to assess potential investments thoroughly.
• Work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to track progress on assigned tasks and pinpoint critical issues.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and display meticulous attention to detail throughout various aspects of the deal process.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in private equity or a mix of private equity and investment banking at the Associate or Analyst level is essential.
• Skilled in examining public filings, managing M&A or financing transaction procedures, and preparing CIMs/SIMs and due diligence documentation.
• Expertise in drafting Investment Committee memos and Board presentations, capable of organizing and communicating complex information effectively.
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities, capable of producing accurate and engaging content tailored to different audiences.
• Strong organizational skills and an extremely detail-focused mindset to handle multiple projects simultaneously with discipline.
