Key Responsibilities

• Communicate team resource allocation and skill requirements to supervisors to support business needs.
• Ensure project coverage during vacations and unexpected absences and provide mentorship, training, and support for skill development.
• Promote adherence to company standards, policies, and processes.
• Collaborate to resolve issues spanning multiple disciplines, vendors, and clients.
• Guarantee that technical discipline work and activities comply with health, safety, environmental, and security regulations.
• Identify technical challenges, evaluate alternative solutions with pros and cons, and recommend approaches for official project documentation such as technical queries and deviations.
• Prepare final documentation including all pertinent information and secure internal approvals.
• Review relevant documentation to assist colleagues and authorize work completed by direct reports.
• Conduct discipline-specific design and drafting services.
• Clarify project scope and ensure any scope modifications follow change management protocols.
• Participate in studies and analysis as needed, proposing recommendations.
• Oversee engineering drawing production and documentation.
• Validate completion and checking of drawings according to Worley’s procedures.
• Engage in project review meetings as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Completion of Trade Apprenticeship, Certificate, Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Mechanical or Piping Engineering Technology.
• Experience with offshore brownfield projects is essential.
• Demonstrated expertise in detailed piping design acquired through work with design contractors and/or oil and gas companies.
• Extensive design experience within the relevant discipline and, where applicable, experience leading multidisciplinary projects and teams.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in 2D design tools such as AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Competency with 3D design software including PDS, S3D/PDMS, and E3D.
• Familiarity with 3D review tools like Navisworks and SPR.
• Knowledge of LFM software.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
