Role Overview

As a Pricing Technology QA Manager, you will lead client engagement initiatives within our Technology Consulting division. Your role encompasses supervising diverse teams, ensuring exceptional client service, and delivering innovative pricing, promotions, and revenue management solutions. Your analytical expertise will help solve complex problems and produce top-tier deliverables aligned with client expectations.

In this leadership role, you will manage teams and accounts strategically, mentor junior colleagues, and uphold project standards. Leadership includes motivating, coaching, and utilizing individual team strengths to meet objectives, while fostering integrity and authenticity in alignment with our core values. Embracing technology and innovation is essential to enhance delivery quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze user stories, acceptance criteria, and design documents to shape comprehensive testing strategies.
  • Lead requirement refinement, sprint and test planning, and defect triage with a QA focus.
  • Direct QA teams in converting business needs into detailed test cases and regression suites.
  • Ensure thorough testing coverage, including positive, negative, boundary, integration, regression, and edge-case scenarios.
  • Understand pricing mechanisms such as price lists, discounts, approvals, hierarchies, agreements, rebates, promotions, and governance.
  • Supervise functional testing of Pricefx developments and configurations to verify compliance with requirements.
  • Validate pricing logic, workflows, user interface behavior, dashboards, and approval processes.
  • Manage end-to-end business scenario testing across Pricefx modules, covering inputs, processing, outputs, exceptions, and usability.
  • Coordinate different testing phases including SIT, UAT, regression, smoke, and release validations.
  • Confirm configuration updates meet business needs without adversely impacting existing functionality.
  • Govern defect management activities: quality assessment, prioritization, triage, escalation, and closure monitoring.
  • Evaluate critical defects for clarity, severity, impact, reproducibility, and evidence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify issues and facilitate root cause analysis.
  • Monitor open defects, blocking items, dependencies, testing risks, and release preparedness.
  • Guarantee QA documentation meets standards for quality, traceability, and completeness.
  • Maintain comprehensive test documentation including plans, execution summaries, defect dashboards, and release readiness reports.
  • Support UAT planning, data preparation, business user coordination, and hypercare activities.
  • Communicate QA status, risks, blockers, and recommendations to project and client stakeholders.
  • Enforce adherence to testing standards, governance frameworks, and project deadlines.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 9 years professional experience, including at least 5 years in QA or test management roles.
  • Extensive experience leading QA activities for enterprise software such as pricing systems, CPQ, ERP, CRM, or commercial platforms.
  • Proficient in test planning, test case development, execution tracking, defect lifecycle management, regression testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Solid grasp of pricing concepts: price lists, discounts, approvals, agreements, rebates, hierarchies, and regulatory governance.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent test management software.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and escalate issues effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
  • Prior involvement with Pricefx or other pricing and revenue management platforms.
  • Hands-on testing knowledge in pricing configurations, workflows, rebate calculation, dashboards, and data tables.
  • Exposure to SQL, data validation, integration, and reconciliation testing.
  • Experience managing UAT, release verification, and hypercare phases with diverse client groups.
  • Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium and Playwright, AI-supported testing, or advanced defect analysis tools.
  • Capability to manage teams distributed across multiple time zones.
