Role Overview

As a Planner I, you will undertake routine assignments while building your expertise. Typically, a college degree or equivalent professional experience is expected, providing you with foundational business and supply chain knowledge. You will work under supervision, contributing technically to your team by applying general business concepts and fundamental supply chain planning theories. Your responsibilities include identifying innovative solutions to common challenges, analyzing data, and using established methods to make decisions. Your output affects your tasks and supports overall team goals. Effective communication through information exchange and clarification is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to Integer’s values and comply with all safety, environmental, security, and quality policies and relevant regulatory standards including Quality Management Systems, FDA regulations, and company procedures.
• Work collaboratively across production, procurement, and logistics to develop and maintain accurate production schedules.
• Implement daily and weekly production plans based on order priority and resource availability, coordinating with production teams for smooth workflow.
• Assist in resolving scheduling conflicts and interruptions in production processes.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to foster communication and teamwork.
• Ensure precise data entry and maintenance in the ERP system for critical production parameters, such as lead times, batch sizes, and manufacturing cycle times.
• Develop and manage production schedules carefully considering raw materials, equipment usage, shifts, and labor alignment.
• Provide status updates and report any production issues to supply chain leadership.
• Monitor and maintain ideal inventory levels for product families.
• Propose adjustments to production schedules based on identified constraints as necessary.
• Perform additional responsibilities as delegated by supervisors.

Performance Metrics

• On-Time Delivery: Ability to create and execute production schedules that meet planned timelines.
• Schedule Attainment: Degree to which production output aligns with planned schedules.
• Sales Order Backorder: Volume of orders delayed due to inventory or capacity shortages.
• Inventory Levels: Monitoring inventory values and turn rates to meet targeted levels, including assessing work-in-progress (WIP) aging and finished goods volume.

Qualifications and Attributes

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related fields; alternatively, two years of relevant supply chain experience may suffice.
• Adeptness at working both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
• Capability to apply foundational business knowledge to understand and improve supply chain processes.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Background in manufacturing environments, preferably medical devices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain composed in a demanding and fast-paced supply chain environment.
• Positive, proactive mindset with a commitment to success and problem-solving.
