People & Education Manager

Overview

At MECCA, our People & Education team is pivotal in enhancing business success, driving organisational development, and creating outstanding experiences for team members. We seek a commercially-aware and flexible People & Education Manager to join our Support Centre on a fixed-term contract concluding in September 2027.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with senior leaders and Executive Leadership Team stakeholders to advance people-focused initiatives, manage organisational change, oversee HR case files, employee relations, and talent strategies across a dynamic environment.
• Offer dependable HR operational support throughout the employee lifecycle, including recruitment coaching, team structuring, performance management, feedback facilitation, and addressing workplace concerns.
• Partner with department leaders to execute critical people initiatives such as Pulse survey action plans, workshops, talent reviews, succession planning, and remuneration review processes.
• Support organisational change activities, including restructures, communications, and evolving operational practices.
• Manage periodic HR processes including performance evaluations, calibration sessions, talent mapping, and other People team projects.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in HR Business Partnering, People & Culture, or Employee Relations roles within large or rapidly growing organisations.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and partner effectively with Senior Leadership and ELT members.
• Extensive expertise in employee relations covering recruitment support, talent identification, onboarding, developmental coaching, performance and grievance management, and handling complex workplace issues.
• Experience in guiding organisational change and people initiatives in fast-moving business settings.
• Capability to manage both strategic projects and immediate operational priorities across various stakeholders.
