About the Role

Join a prestigious global law firm as a Paralegal within their leading Antitrust & Competition practice based in Washington D.C. You will collaborate with distinguished attorneys on high-profile antitrust investigations, merger control cases, regulatory matters, and significant litigation involving some of the largest international corporations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize, review, retrieve, and produce documents for complex legal matters.
  • Support investigations, regulatory proceedings, and antitrust-related litigation.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) premerger notification filings, including gathering client data and handling documentation.
  • Maintain case files including pleadings, correspondence, discovery materials, and conduct legal research.
  • Draft memoranda, prepare exhibit lists, and privilege logs.
  • Proofread, edit, and verify citations in legal documents.
  • Coordinate with outside litigation support and document review teams to meet deadlines.
  • Contribute to trial preparation and provide on-site assistance as necessary.
  • Manage databases containing documents, transcripts, and work products.
  • Mentor junior paralegals when appropriate.

Candidate Profile

  • Four to six years of relevant paralegal or legal support experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience combination.
  • Paralegal certification is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in legal research, analytical thinking, and problem solving.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic, deadline-sensitive environment.
  • High standards of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.

Compensation
