Role Overview

The Painting Supervisor will oversee and coordinate daily painting operations on the construction site to ensure all work is performed efficiently and meets quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and allocate tasks to painting personnel, ensuring optimal manpower deployment.
• Ensure thorough surface preparation and accurate execution of painting and finishing per technical specifications.
• Inspect completed painting work to verify quality, consistency, and compliance with established standards.
• Supervise proper handling, usage, and storage of paints, tools, and other equipment.
• Monitor consumption of materials and promptly report any shortages or excessive waste.
• Implement safety measures by enforcing regulations and ensuring painters wear required personal protective equipment.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and other onsite trades for smooth coordination.
• Interpret drawings, technical specifications, and work schedules to guide the painting team.
• Compile and submit daily progress reports to management for review.
• Identify operational challenges and provide timely solutions to technical issues encountered.
• Provide training and mentorship to painting staff to enhance workmanship and productivity.
