Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Apply coatings such as paint, stain, varnish, enamel, and putty to walls, ceilings, and furniture within the property.
• Expertly handle gypsum board tasks including cutting and new installations.
• Proficient use of brushes, spray guns, and rollers for painting applications.
• Adhere to established property color schemes meticulously.
• Prepare new surfaces by applying primers or sealers, including on bare wood or metal.
• Remove existing finishes employing techniques like stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or abrasive blasting with water.
• Protect surfaces during painting by covering appropriately and display paint signs for safety.
• Maintain cleanliness by properly storing paint materials and equipment after use.
• Utilize suitable tools and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE); follow safe lifting practices to minimize injury risks.
• Collaborate with vendors to adjust paint, stain, or varnish colors as needed.
• Complete safety training and obtain certifications relevant to the job responsibilities.
• Immediately report any workplace accidents or injuries to supervisors or managers.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

• Prior experience working as a painter.
• At least two years of painting experience within the UAE hospitality sector.
• A proactive and hands-on approach with a willingness to take ownership of responsibilities.
• Ability to independently devise solutions and uphold personal integrity.

Compensation and Benefits

• A competitive monthly salary of AED 2,200.
• An average service charge of AED 700.
