Packing Supervisor

Role Overview

The Packing Supervisor is tasked with managing daily packaging activities to ensure products are packed efficiently, safely, and according to established quality standards. This position includes overseeing a team of packaging personnel, maintaining productivity targets, and enforcing compliance with safety and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate packaging tasks to meet production schedules and shipment deadlines.
• Lead, educate, and supervise packaging staff to guarantee high performance and adherence to procedures.
• Verify that products are properly packed, labeled correctly, and meet quality criteria.
• Track packaging material inventory and manage restocking processes.
• Optimize packaging workflows to boost efficiency and productivity.
• Perform routine quality inspections and address any issues related to packaging or labeling.
• Ensure workplace compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Generate reports detailing packaging output, team performance, and operational challenges.
• Collaborate closely with warehouse, logistics, and production departments to ensure seamless operations.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in packaging, warehousing, or manufacturing settings.
• Previous supervisory or leadership role is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational capabilities and time management skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledgeable about safety regulations and recommended practices.
• Basic computer proficiency for tracking inventory and reporting.
• Valid and permanent work authorization in Singapore (e.g., Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident) required.
