Position Summary

We are looking for a courteous and efficient Order Taker to join our Riyadh team. This role is vital in ensuring customer satisfaction by taking precise orders, facilitating smooth operations, and providing excellent service throughout the dining experience.

Key Duties

• Promptly answer incoming calls and welcome customers professionally.
• Record detailed food and beverage orders accurately.
• Enter orders efficiently into the restaurant's order system.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure order correctness.
• Offer menu suggestions and clarify questions about dishes, ingredients, and preparation.
• Encourage additional sales by upselling menu items.
• Address customer inquiries, special needs, and complaints with patience and professionalism.
• Handle payment transactions and cash processing with accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to manage high-demand periods effectively.
• Stay informed on menu updates, daily specials, and promotions.
• Follow all hygiene and food safety protocols.

Candidate Profile

• Completion of high school or equivalent education.
• Experience in customer service, ideally in hospitality or food service.
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking under pressure.
• Familiarity with order management and point-of-sale software.
• Basic numerical skills for financial handling.
• Knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including local culinary preferences.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent listening abilities with accuracy in recording orders.
• Effective at managing customer issues patiently and constructively.
• Cooperative team player eager to support others during busy times.
• Endurance to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced setting.
