Role Overview

We seek an Order Fulfillment & Processing Specialist responsible for managing a complete range of order processing actions including repairs, custom orders, and cancellations. This role demands a thorough grasp of order systems, inventory control, and collaboration across departments to guarantee accuracy, speed, and accountability in order fulfillment.

Key Duties

• Manage the entire order fulfillment process from order receipt through delivery.
• Accurately process and validate complex, priority orders using internal platforms.
• Continuously monitor workflow to detect and mitigate delays and bottlenecks.
• Track pending orders and promptly resolve issues that could affect procurement and shipping timelines.
• Investigate and fix discrepancies, software errors, and fulfillment problems.
• Send timely responses to new inquiries within the order management system.
• Handle canceled orders, quality control failures, quick fixes, and HD orders efficiently.
• Act as a critical point of escalation for order-related complications and ensure swift resolution.
• Collaborate closely with Customer Service, Production, Quality Assurance, and Shipping teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate the processing of repair requests and customized orders while upholding service quality standards.
• Support inventory precision through regular cycle counts, audits, and fixing discrepancies.
• Maintain precise and current records about order status and fulfillment activities.
• Provide training and guidance to Order Fulfillment Associates as required.
• Contribute to enhancing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Handle urgent and high-value orders attentively, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and quality.
• Maintain a clean, ordered, and safe workplace aligned with operational regulations.

Candidate Requirements

• At least one year of experience in order processing, customer service, or handling intricate order management.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency in work approach.
• Effective communication skills to clearly convey information.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and general computer navigation.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent capability to follow instructions.
• Preferred experience ranges from two to three years in relevant roles.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers an hourly wage between $21 and $23, depending on candidate qualifications and experience. Blue Nile provides an extensive benefits package which may include:
