Job Overview

As a Stores Operator based onsite in Carrigaline, County Cork, Ireland, you will report to the Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor. Your main responsibility is to coordinate and perform a variety of stores-related duties including administrative tasks. Collaboration with Purchasing, Customer Service, and Planning teams is essential to successfully execute weekly work assignments. You will also provide support to colleagues and actively contribute to the daily operations of the department.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manually configure equipment to enable preparation of components for PTH level kits.
  • Perform packing of cards and units for weekly shipments directed to customers or subcontractors.
  • Manage inventory stored at an external warehouse, maintaining stock levels and transferring stock off-site per safety and space protocols.
  • Maintain and update off-site inventory reports accurately.
  • Operate in accordance with schedules prioritized by planning, including kitting and preparation tasks.
  • Adhere strictly to all documented procedures and processes, ensuring they are current and correctly applied.
  • Handle materials control activities such as inventory management, transaction accuracy, and cycle counting.
  • Apply all safety standards, including anti-static measures and housekeeping practices consistently.
  • Contribute to meeting quality and production goals, and participate in initiatives aimed at improving quality.
  • Execute miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Complete all relevant documentation related to stores operations diligently.
  • Support lean management initiatives and incorporate lean principles into everyday work practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Previous experience in stores operations is necessary to be effective in this role.
