Operations Manager - Life Insurance

Overview

This role requires managing and executing key aspects of life insurance operations, combining administrative tasks with significant fieldwork. The Operations Manager will oversee the entire policy lifecycle and ensure strong field-level validations to maintain operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee new business processes including thorough review and screening of insurance applications for completeness, authenticity, and proper documentation.
• Manage issuance of policies by processing authorized applications to issue, revise, or renew life insurance contracts efficiently.
• Administer policy lifecycle activities such as beneficiary changes, address updates, policy loans management, and reinstatements.
• Conduct field operations, dedicating at least 30% of time to ground verifications including audits of branch locations, complex claim investigations, and supporting distribution networks.
• Engage directly with clients or beneficiaries to secure original documents needed for processing, such as medical records, KYC filings, and signatures.

Requirements and Eligibility

• Candidate must hold a graduate degree as a minimum qualification.
• Demonstrated ability to manage both office-based administration and field operations efficiently.
