The Operations Lead plays an essential role in the store leadership team, working to boost profitability and operational efficiency. Collaborating closely with the Operations & Visual Manager, this leader delegates tasks, provides ongoing feedback, and ensures seamless store operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Effectively oversee inventory management processes aimed at maximizing accuracy and minimizing shrinkage.
• Investigate discrepancies in inventory accuracy and work with the General Manager to address system or process shortcomings.
• Manage core operational tasks such as receiving shipments, processing returns, managing transfers, replenishing the sales floor throughout the day, updating floor sets, and maintaining supply inventories.
• Maintain high visual standards for the sales floor environment.
• Promote a safe and efficient workplace by upholding rigorous stockroom standards and procedures.
• Partner with Operations & Visual Manager in managing budgets, reports, expenses, inventory controls, vendor relations, technology, and facilities to maximize store performance.
• Use business metrics to inform and drive strategic decisions.
• Actively engage on the retail floor to meet the evolving needs of the store, team, and customers.
• Lead and inspire operations associates, overseeing recruitment, development, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Visual and Sales & Service leads to ensure effective training and operational excellence.
• Implement company-wide operations initiatives and projects in coordination with the Operations & Visual Manager.

Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in client-facing, sales-oriented environments.
• Proven leadership skills with strong decision-making capabilities.
• Open to giving and receiving feedback constructively.
• Energetic, positive, and able to integrate enjoyment within the workplace.
• Self-driven with a commitment to personal and team success.
• Excellent communication, both written and interpersonal.
• Alignment with ALO's core values and guiding principles.

Work Schedule and Requirements

This full-time role requires 32 to 40 hours per week with flexible availability, including peak days and weekends. Employees must be available during the company's Blackout period—from Thanksgiving week through the first week of January.

• Hourly wage between $24 and $28 based on location (New York, NY).
