Operations Analyst

About the Role

A renowned global logistics company is expanding its India-based operations analytics team and seeks an Operations Analyst. The role involves transforming data related to shipments, throughput, and service level adherence into meaningful insights to ensure timely, efficient network performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor key metrics including shipment volumes, SLA compliance, and incident rates across various operational hubs.
• Examine route efficiency, capacity utilization, and turnaround times to identify potential bottlenecks and improve performance.
• Create standardized reports focusing on cost per shipment and service-level metrics for ongoing evaluation.
• Develop and maintain dashboards for weekly review by operations managers and senior leadership.
• Document existing process shortcomings, offering recommendations without direct implementation responsibilities.
• Provide support for ad hoc data analysis requests from operations and account management teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• Between 2 to 6 years of experience in roles such as operations analyst, business analyst, or reporting specialist.
• Proficiency in advanced spreadsheet tools (Excel or Google Sheets) capable of handling large data sets.
• Methodical and detail-conscious approach to data analysis and reporting accuracy.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with a dependable remote work environment.
• Preferred experience includes working with logistics, supply chain, or transportation-related data.
• Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or Tableau is advantageous.
• Prior experience generating reports tailored to operations or account teams is a plus.
