Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and prepare orders from different temperature zones, prioritizing product quality to meet on-time delivery.
• Carefully pack orders, distinguishing between similar products and verifying quantities and codes for accuracy.
• Ensure products meet quality standards, avoiding damaged items and selecting the freshest options available.
• Precisely label and document orders by interpreting pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels.
• Optimize packing space within totes efficiently while preserving product integrity.
• Balance order fulfillment tasks with positive customer interactions and resolving any issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the work area, promptly addressing spills and debris, while ensuring totes are clean before packing.
• Operate material handling equipment safely, completing all required pre-use inspections.
• Embody the company's mission and values through professional behavior.
• Contribute to process improvements by suggesting enhancements in operations, productivity, customer satisfaction, safety, and quality.
• Adapt flexibly to workload changes and varying customer requests to meet daily delivery deadlines.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.00.
