Key Responsibilities

This role provides vital support for provider recruitment and contracting processes aimed at securing strategic provider coverage within the Texas Territory across Commercial, IFM, and Government Programs.

• Negotiate small to mid-size contracts with entities such as small hospitals, individual physicians, physician groups, Independent Physician Associations (IPAs), and ancillary providers.
• Establish and maintain trusted relationships with providers.
• Assist with complex hospital and physician contract negotiations.
• Travel within the assigned territory as necessary, including occasional overnight stays (under 10% travel requirement).

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus at least one year of experience in developing and negotiating provider contracts; or alternatively, 5 years in managed care operations with at least one year focused on provider contract development and negotiation.
• Strong ability to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, combined with strong organizational and planning capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general PC usage.
• Analytical aptitude for complex contract evaluation and negotiation.
• Willingness and ability to travel occasionally within the territory, including overnight stays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Healthcare Administration is advantageous.

This position is a remote/telecommute role. Sponsorship for employment visas is not available for this opportunity.

Compensation ranges from $55,900 to $123,500 annually, depending on skills, experience, and location.
