Network Engineer

Role Overview

The Network Engineer is tasked with the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's network infrastructure spanning over thirteen locations, including headquarters, warehouses, and construction sites. This position ensures stable, secure, and efficient network connectivity to support both office environments and construction project needs while advancing digital transformation efforts.

Key Duties

• Plan, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, and WLAN networks for multiple company sites.
• Configure and oversee diverse firewall platforms such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Meraki, and pfSense.
• Utilize Zabbix and additional monitoring solutions to supervise network health, promptly addressing any problems.
• Manage relationships and troubleshoot connectivity with ISPs including Mobily, STC, Zain, and ITC.
• Implement and sustain Network Access Control (NAC) systems to centralize device authentication and enforce policies.
• Drive network topology enhancements aligned with IT Enterprise Standards and modernization goals.
• Maintain detailed documentation including network configurations, topology schematics, and WLAN/switch records.
• Apply network security controls adhering to NCA Essential Cybersecurity standards.
• Liaise with vendors and service providers to acquire and support network hardware.
• Deliver Level 2 and Level 3 support for network incident resolution and service requests.
• Assist in establishing connectivity for construction sites, including deployment of 5G SIM solutions.
• Contribute to data center modernization projects and cloud integration initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in enterprise network engineering.
• Proficiency with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Meraki equipment.
• Hands-on experience with SD-WAN, VPN configurations, and cloud connectivity.
• Familiarity with network management and monitoring tools.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory compliance.
• Mandatory CCNA/CCNP certification, with Palo Alto PCNSE and Fortinet NSE certifications preferred.
• Technical aptitudes including network design, firewall management, troubleshooting, documentation, and vendor coordination.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
