Position Overview
The National Account Manager (NAM) for Mass eCommerce plays a key role in executing Red Bull's digital strategies at major retailers' eCommerce platforms, including both pickup and delivery services. This position requires a proactive, entrepreneurial approach to managing accounts with fast-growing, strategic customers. Your goal is to position Red Bull as the preferred brand for online consumers by mastering digital search, availability, and innovative marketing campaigns. The NAM collaborates closely with internal teams across Brick & Mortar Sales, Operations, Finance, and Marketing to ensure success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute both short- and long-term strategies to align with Red Bull and retail partner objectives in the online space.
- Optimize resource allocation to maximize strategic impact and business return.
- Work alongside Red Bull's Key Account, Advertising, and Retail Marketing teams to shape eCommerce priorities at partner retailers.
- Manage online programming including pricing strategies, promotions, visibility, volume forecasting, and trade budget management.
- Collaborate with Retail Media teams to implement advertising spend campaigns focused on strong return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Create and implement annual joint business plans aimed at exceeding category growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Retail Buying, Inventory Management, and Merchandising teams.
- Partner with demand planning and supply teams to address retailer fulfillment models for optimal stock levels and to avoid out-of-stock situations.
- Enhance category leadership through superior execution on retailer websites and apps, ensuring best-in-class content, imagery, and messaging.
- Gather and analyze shopper and category insights to support eCommerce strategies and brand presence online.
- Conduct business reviews, monitor sales and share performance, and provide competitive landscape analysis.
- Evaluate promotions and visibility campaigns post-execution to optimize future investments.
- Work with Key Account teams to elevate eCommerce knowledge and align strategic objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving Finance, Operations, Marketing, Shopper Insights, and Advertising to implement unique business solutions.
- Leverage data and customer capabilities to uncover new revenue and marketing opportunities.
- Maintain clear communication with distribution partners regarding relevant eCommerce programs and initiatives.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Minimum of eight years experience managing eCommerce accounts, with a preference for strategic leadership roles spanning both digital and traditional retail channels.
- Familiarity with the beverage industry, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sectors preferred.
- Experience working with Digital Advertising Agencies is desirable.
- Ability to influence peers and provide effective leadership without direct authority.
- Strong analytical capability, comfortable interpreting both internal and external data sources.
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening and a commanding leadership presence.
- Proficient in strategic planning, financial management, sales presentations, decision-making, and negotiation.
- Innovative problem solver with a collaborative approach to achieving business objectives.
- Highly driven, self-motivated, and capable of working autonomously.
- Advanced conceptual thinking and the ability to critique design and strategy effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, as well as internal tools such as CPM and SAP/BI systems.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this role is approximately $124,000 to $186,000 annually, supplemented with cash incentives. Salary offers will be adjusted based on individual prior experience. The pay scale is subject to revision.
