Role Overview

This full-time, on-site role in the Greater Brisbane Area has several openings across electrical construction and service teams. Core duties include assisting with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial locations. Employees will support project execution according to safety protocols, specifications, and deadlines. Tasks involve testing, fault diagnosis, documentation, preparation of materials and equipment, and adherence to site safety measures and regulations.

Team members will also engage in communication with coworkers and clients regarding project status, upkeep of tools and vehicles, and participate in training to maintain skill relevancy.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a relevant electrical trade qualification or apprenticeship, such as a licensed electrician or electrical trade assistant, with authorization to work on commercial and industrial sites.
• Strong aptitude for electrical systems including the ability to interpret plans and schematics, conduct basic troubleshooting and testing, and safely operate hand and power tools.
• Dedicated to workplace health and safety, consistently following procedures, utilizing personal protective equipment, and abiding by industry standards and regulations.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities, capable of following supervisor instructions and professionally interacting with clients.
• Good organizational and time management skills ensuring reliability in meeting schedules, completing necessary documentation, and supporting project timelines.
• Valid driver’s license with willingness to travel to multiple worksites within the Greater Brisbane Area; possession of a construction industry white card is advantageous.
• Experience in commercial or industrial electrical environments is preferred along with familiarity with turn-key project frameworks and engineered electrical solutions.
