Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Multimedia Content Creator to join our team full-time in South Melbourne. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to develop on-brand, cohesive design packages for corporate events, training materials, advertisements, and realistic graphic representations. A solid grasp of branding, identity, and design principles is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce motion design content for various marketing channels including videos for YouTube, social media advertising, display campaigns, client interviews, and instructional videos featuring typography and animated ads.
• Design and illustrate templates and assets to be used in animations.
• Create attractive social and display advertising materials using motion graphics, typography, photography, video, and color, often working with minimal direction.
• Design and animate vector illustrations, graphs, typography, and other visual elements.
• Enhance live-action footage with engaging animations to support storytelling.
• Perform light video editing and incorporate audio or music where needed.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Audition.
• Collaborate effectively with teams across different time zones.
• Brainstorm and implement innovative motion graphic solutions to meet marketing team and broader company needs.
• Develop initial drafts and present visual concepts as mockups or sketches.
• Create illustrations, logos, and photo assets as part of design work.
• Apply suitable colors and layouts for each graphic piece.
• Work with copywriters and creative directors to finalize designs.
• Test graphics across various media platforms and adjust according to feedback.
• Ensure all final graphics and layouts maintain visual appeal and brand consistency.
• Maintain and organise the asset library effectively.

Requirements

• Proficiency in video editing using Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere.
• Understanding of vector graphics, file types, and web-saving standards.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in multimedia content creation, motion graphics, or animation.
• Ability to create on-brand cohesive design packages for corporate purposes with a strong grasp of branding and design fundamentals.
• Experience implementing and maintaining consistent branding across projects while incorporating feedback from creative directors and marketing managers.
• Competency in managing multiple projects and setting priorities efficiently.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Capability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to learn new software, techniques, and problem-solving methods.
• An up-to-date portfolio or demo reel is required for application.

Additional Information

This is a full-time role based onsite with working hours Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Some additional hours or travel may occasionally be required.
